My own personal fitness journey has been quite the learning lesson. Like anyone else I have tried it all, crash diets, excessive running, low carb, no fat etc…
I have finally found what really works and I am here today to share that with anyone willing to listen.
The secret in of itself is nothing fancy and in fact not much of a secret.
It’s SIMPLE…YET so simple that when applied and applied continuously it takes grit, strength, perseverance and most of all self-love to be the happiest healthiest version of YOU!
The secret I hope to share and the message that I feel most women need to hear is that you cannot care for others if you don’t care for yourself… Fall in love with becoming the best version of yourself but with patience, with compassion, and respect to your own journey.
I have defined the secret to fitness into 4 EASY TO FOLLOW, HARD TO IMPLEMENT RULES
May I present…
4 RULES FIT WOMEN FOLLOW:
1. LOVE THE SKIN YOUR IN
Wear the SHT that makes you happy! Don’t be afraid to be yourself and rock your style with confidence! Weather that be a little black dress or a snap back hat and tennies… confidence breeds happiness.
Give a shit about what you put in and on your body, our bodies are our temple, treat it as such..
Eat REAL FOOD
Eat the right portions for you
Avoid excessive drinking
And DRINK YOU WATER
2. Be your own HYPE man!!
Self-talk is your own internal dialogue and this internal dialogue can influence how you feel about yourself and how you respond to events in our life.
Be your own hype man and be INTENTIONAL!! Listen in on your self-talk, as it comes naturally, and is done all throughout your day.
Do you harbor negative self-talk? If so kick the bad habit.., cultivate positive thoughts and dispel the bad ones.
3. Know and embrace your strength as you never know how strong you are until you look back at everything you overcame.
Women were built to be STRONG! That connotation that muscles make women look manly is bullsht!!
TRAIN YOUR ASS OFF AND I DON’T MEAN BY RUNNING ON A TREADMILL ENDLESSLY.
Strength and conditioning is just as important for women as it is for men. Pick up some weights ladies and get to work!
Mental strength will trump physical fitness any day! Take the time to train “mindset”. I can give a sht less on how much you can deadlift or how fast you can run… are you happy inside?
Do the work to develop a positive mindset and do it often.
4. STAY HUNGRY! EVERYONE WANTS TO EAT, BUT FEW ARE WILLING TO HUNT.
Everyone wants to be the healthiest version of themselves but few are willing to put in the work. Fitness and Nutrition is really SHT simple…
