REFLECTION: BUSY V. PRODUCTIVE

Everyone says they are busy; and often “busy” is what stops us from getting to do things we know we should, or really want, to do.


We need to stop wearing the term “busy” like it is a badge of honor, and start be proud of how productive we are.


So what’s the difference? Remember in school the teacher would give you busy work? It’s work that really serves no purpose, but to keep you doing something.


By that definition, whatever “to do” item or task in our day that does not serve our Top 3 Priorities and/or our Intentional Mission in life, is busy work; and we need to cut it out.


Take a few moments to Reflect (once again) on your Top 3 Prioirites and Intentional Mission. Then, assess what you have done today, or will do this week, to determine what needs to stay and what needs to go.


This process will not be easy; but this is why we believe “Hard work makes us Strong.”
